The PM refuses an additional apology while other countries have testimonies from women who were victims.
The PM on the other hand says that that he doesn't consider the testimonies as conclusive evidence.

Short sentence says that the house of representatives heard from three former "comfort women." There's a previous article that talks about a number of women demanding compensation. Perhaps some women emigrated to the States and are pursuing it via their legal system?
no flu - I get that part - though I am assuming that this is just you using your trademark sarcasm and dry wit - I hear ya dude. And that's my point exactly - there are countless people, from the Japanese army themselves admitting that this what happened - these women were sexually tortured and held captive - fucking appalling - and yes, I know that there is appalling shit going on in 'my' own backyard here in Canada - I guess a good example would be that the government just finally settled with the victims of the 'Residential School System' - but to hear this coming from this person - made me angry - and I was glad to hear that there are indeed voices of dissent against this view in Japan. My posting this was just a way for me to vent a little bit - that and I just wanted to share this passion with the rest of y'all.

I've known a few people who've gone to Japan. One of my friends' names sounds Chinese so if she needed services (she was talking about credit cards), many Japanese would refuse her until they saw she was white. At which point she was welcomed with open arms. It's generally acceptable to refuse Chinese people credit cards and even medical services from what I've heard.
Octopus sex, by the way, has a long loving tradition. Although Hokusai's octopus seems to be a nice fellow in comparison with modern day octopuses.
