So...
I am two months away from graduation. Now being as old as I am it may seem like this is a hint that I should grow up.
Nothin' doin.
I WILL however have to get a "grown up" job.
I've been looking around Winnipeg and it seems like it's a dry market for someone with two bachelor degrees in ridiculously different subjects. What is a person to do?
Basically, I want to use my B.Env.D. in the City Planning stream and use my B.C.Sc as a suppliment to it, rather than a main focus. Now that may not make too much sense, so lemme put it this way.
"I wanna use a computer to do planning work, I do not want to be the IT guy in a planning office".
I'm still looking around Winnipeg, but I may have to look elsewhere. Basically, I've been told that I can get a job in Calgary as some sort of planning troll, since a classmate's mother works in the planning office there. Now I have to ask... do I want to go to Calgary?
Meh, I have no idea why I'm whining on the blog, this is supposed to be a place where we all come together and catch up. So, pretend this is me just telling you what is up for now. I'll get back to posting lame youtube videos in the near future.
ps: remind me to start writing papers earlier in the night.

Ooh ooh come to Vancouver. All the cool kids are doin' it.
New post, back to my old name. Success?
While we're on the subject of moving places, it's looking like I might be in Cali for the summer, interning with a certain microprocessor company that rhymes with Sintel. They have some new multi-core chips in the pipeline, and they want to figure out how to make them work awesomely with game physics. Fun times for me!
Brigs you gonna go work for Howie Mandel? I guess those android models need some microprocessors replaced so they can walk in unison and open the cases better.
So anyways Mr.Lister, Cowtown eh. I'd offer to fly you out here for a week just to have a looksy. But since I can never really pin down when and how long I'm actually in Cowtown and not in the field, I can't really do it. Well I suppose I could but you may end up here and then you'd be on your own once you land.
Cowtown is expensive, it has the highest retail purchasing and car and truck purchasing in the country, and probably other things as well. So there's money over here floating around for those that want it and work for it. 6 Billion in provincial surplus. And I believe that's profit that's staying in the Province.
I'd say stay home in the Peg, as much as it would be nice to have another Pegger here again I doubt Cowtown would suit your style. E-town I figure would be better. If you had to come to AB.
My suggestion if you really want to get out of the Peg would be to go to Victoria, just cause it would be funny. I think your parents would find it assuming or maybe Pelly, SK. It's a growing urban centre of Saskie! Isn't it? They'll definitely need some sort of Comp Sci City Planner guy.
I AM MOVING TO MEXICO CAUSE I LIKE THEIR WARM AND TASTY TACO'S
Even though they do not sit well with me by any means.
Mr.Imposter
it's "Not by any means"...
now go interact in your own way.
I vote for Mexico. You'll get a nice tan and grow a moustache. And I know what that's like. Believe you me...
