Well, it's Christmas Eve.

I guess I should post this, even though the Soviet Army is the only one who'd get it.

Merry Christmas, people.

Well, all these twelve days of Christmas parodies are rather fun and all, but I just don't have the patience to watch through all the lines of repetition... and it just gets less and less funny and more tiresome for me... Anyone else share these thoughts?

Yeah, that's true. But I actually watched this version last week, and of course the Indian version, all the way through.

Don't be such an Ebenezer. What's the rush?

I like the part where only Soviet Army would get it. Because the rest of us are uneducated chumps.

Well aren't you all uneducated chumps? Come on! You call what you have an "education"? No one here is as infinitely valuable and employable as me.

But on a side note, last year in the sculpture class I was TAing, one of my students had the "hipster handbook." And they labelled me as a hipster called "The Polit." I fit the stereotype surprisingly well. It said I was obsessed with Albert Camus' "The Stranger" and indeed I am. In fact, when I first came here I was so sad I didn't have it that when I saw a Coles notes version of it at a yard sale I bought it. Anyway, the defining phrase of "The Polit" is "Fuck you, facist!" The whole class, including the prof, agreed that was something I would say.... hmm... but I got good reviews so it can't be that bad.
