Now... Everyone has certain places in the geography of where they grew up, which have a certain nostalgia/sentimental value for them... As I was cycling to work just the other day, I passed this tree in the park a block away from my house.... Now, this was always the biggest, and oldest tree in that park, and every spring, the area around it would flood and form a large puddleish lake... Well, this year the water receded sooner than in springs past, and thus, nah - that part doesn't matter - what does matter, is that I always always looked at this tree as I went past it - it is impossible not to stop and glance at it, and take a moment to revel in its beauty and magnificence, which really, is just a prelude to noticing all the wonderfull natural environment surrounding us every day! I love this time of spring! At first, everything is all brown and mucky and wet, but, soon enough, things warm up, the air gets cleaner, the sun shines brighter, and the trees wake up from their winter slumber and start to breathe and grow leaves!!! Leaves! I love leaves! Ok - on that note,
bye

Aw, now I'm all nostalgic for home. I recognized the tree right away, of course.

I don't recognize the tree (although it's a very beautiful photograph), but I can relate to the intense nostalgic feeling you get when you pass by familiar grounds.... sniff, sniff... I miss home

True - I DO love the buds, but, to be honest - me and the buds aren't together anymore... We parted ways over a year ago, and we're doing pretty good... I still see ol' Mary Jane around, but, I don't dance with her no more.
