Hey how's it going with you? I'm busy trying to submit a sketch to the SIGGRAPH conference, so I can get a cheap trip to Boston in August to talk about my work. T-Minus 4 days til deadline!
bizzee with a capital B... Wow, being a chef is a tough gig - it's fun, and rewarding, challenging, exciting, humourous, and tasty! But, its also days filled with hitting the ground with both feet running - trying to plan days in advance and juggle multiple variables like ingredients, supppliers, staff training/ego management, asserting authority, teaching, explaining, exploring, then lots and lots of cleaning, never eating enough of what is good for you, and then going home to let your brain turn to zombie mush just cause it feels so good to not use it for a few hours, then, remembering what needs to be remembered for tommorrow and what was forgotten today, writing it all down and making lists... then you either fall asleep, argue with people in your head, or.. on the good days, just unwind and remember why you go into it all in the first place - You love to cook!
So, yeah, there I am. I'm doing pretty well, no sarcasm intended. Really with every conflict, there is a new opportunity to grow, and come closer to letting it all wash away...
