What What - I'm back - my neck's a little sore and in need of a good solid rub and squeeze, er, tug, no really though, a massage would be perfect right about now. Just a little bit of stress at work - had our yearly visit from the food police, and after a little behavioral incident from someone I work with - while they interacted with the inspector, well yeah, he didn't take too kindly to that, he's just doing his job anyways making sure we're all staying clean and safe - which I am 100 percent in support of - remember how often I'll tell you a story of some of our kitchen hi-jinks and, and finish it by saying, "and then we washed our hands" - so yeah, you understand, I care, the inspector cares, and at the end of the day, we were all lovey dovey and falling all over each other and telling each other how we appreciate the effort the other is putting in - no one wants to make a customer sick you know, or create or allow for a scenario where something unhealthy could occur.... I mean, just ask Mr Lister, those burritos did not sit right, not by any means - you know why? Well, good chance there could have been something in the water - Montezuma's Revenge and all. But really - here's what I wanted to bring to everyone's attention... I stumbled across this article, and it is funny, because it talks about a process/act that I have been seeing more and more evidence of out there on the net, even to the point of overhearing about these kind of things from the youngsters I work with - so it is certainly a phenomenon which I am aware of. And in some ways I laud the French government for being so progressive and trying to curb this sort of fad, or behaviour before it becomes the norm, or as the French themselves might say, de riguer. I just hope that yes, they do not become a rigid controlling government - really, who wants to live in Brazil? - well, I would, if only to meet DeNiro as Harry Tuttle, but that's another fairy tale for another bedtime. Any response / reaction from you my peers?
