So they say that Daniel Craig is the new 007, but until it is officially announced, take it with a grain of salt. Actually don't with the amount of grains involved with this, you'd die.
How, I don't know, you just would.
Unofficial announcements: #1; #2; #3; #4;

You can see him in action in Layer Cake (good movie). He would make a good Bond for Casino Royale me thinks. So does this guy.
Yes Indeed.
On a side note, Matthew Vaughn made a much better gangster film than Guy Ritchie ever will.
It's true, yep.

Warner Brothers is making a biopic of Ian Fleming. (watch the clip to access article)
Ian Fleming is the creator of Bond, James Bond.

007 is based off of Ian Fleming (womanizing romantism) and Sir William Stephenson (the spying)
Sir William Stephenson is the man more widely known as Intrepid.

That's right. James Bond is not only Canadian, he's from Winnipeg.

You can go see a statue in honour of Sir William Stephenson downtown, in Memorial Park and you can check out the library in his name located in Tyndall Park.

No, I think he is just stating a plain old fact. Some of his movies are entertaining, and maybe as a character he's fun to watch, and somewhat pleasingly formulaic, but as a whole, the movies should not be made anymore - they suck.

I think that is the charm of the movies though. They harken back to a time where a man could get the beautiful lady just by throwing her into a bail of hay. Where the antagonist could be dispatched with an inflating pellet. Where a cello is an acceptable mode of transportation to cross the border. If by that you mean that they shouldn't be made anymore, I put it to you that no movie should be made anymore. Q.E.D.

Yes that is the charm, but those days are gone, the era of Christmas Jones is entrenched... I fear...

God!
let's not get into the bond girls.
They have only gotten worse over time with a few exceptions.
Some of which I touched on here.
Not enough tho, it seems.
The problem with the movies is that they started catering to the mainstream, but that will hopefully be rectified with the new back to the basics bond.

And anyways, if you can't enjoy popcorn movies then you shouldn't go to the movies, cause most of the time you're gonna be disappointed.

Oh I dig popcorn movies, but mainly of the 'Sister Hood of the Travelling Pants' variety. Nuff Said. And don't even bother trying to write back and diss me - it's already been taken care of, courtesy of what I just said. But true to the catering to the mainstream being the issue - it is what is the problem - heck, look at the new Star Wars trilogy...

I thought Ice Princess would be more your thing.
I did see the new trilogy and I'd rather not again.
Horrid.
That wasn't pandering to the mainstream tho. That was Lucas pandering to himself and then kinda giving in to the Star Wars geeks.
If Eon pandered to the 007 freaks, I don't think the movies would have been as over the top as they were.
